slight cool breeze
red fruits cover the tree
stretch, pull, got you
there is a bounce-sponge noise on the ground
tonight I picked apples under the moon light
speed race, and slow turn
sing, rejoice, and pray
wake up, read, speak and meet
share good news
remember the last supper
wash her feet, meditate
brake bread and eat
squeeze grapes and drink
we gather at the table and laugh
we walk at the park and laugh
we play at the table and laugh
tonight we laughed
we play sports
we sit at the table and eat
shortly after we train outside
tonight I held a three week old baby
tonight there was a blood moon
so I lay on a wooden deck and look at the sky
it is a magnificent night with eclipse
tonight I fell asleep under the moon light

“For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.”
The History of Christianity in 62 min
there was a conversation
…a lot of media is evolving around religion
however most of it is blind religion, cultural religion
religion with no history, a man made religion
religion to fulfill passions, desires, eloquence
to “bless” forbidden accounts
to give gratitude to politics
there is no religious freedom
church and state want to merge together
“that is impossible,” he says
“it’s in the bible,” she says
“we live in America,” is the end
The unexpected truths revealed in sequence
a storm passes by and waters ornamental shrubs
the chipmunk stands reaching a big acorn
a bicycle makes a path through the dew
spider web artworks are displayed in the green gallery
the tall grass sleeps and green mold stains mud
the hot sun burns the corn field
amazing birds clear the black path
and rain filters your heart
Today I saw a lifeless chipmunk laying on the bike trail – it’s cute little body occupied minimal space, capturing a quick undecided turn.
Being a kid is amazing
Being a teenager is amazing also
but being an adult
being an adult is surpassingly amazing
being an adult is an obtained comfort zone
being an adult is being a wise kid
we realize that love isn’t a person
that love is life
and that life is freedom
we’re no longer slaves of teenage expectations
we are who we are
yet we want to be better
because our job is to be better for others
love regenerates our life
and increases our desire to seek wisdom
failure is a step to success, it’s experience
and rejection opens other doors, it’s experience
we realize that what we dream may not come true
and that it is ok because there is a better outcome
we finally understand what it means to be a free man
a professor quoted
“50% of life is showing up”
I looked up the quote
and it had an increase
“80% of life is showing up”
amazingly true, I thought
I enjoy showing up, even unexpected
everywhere is a good outcome
Its past is explanatory
and there’s no need to question why
its present is exciting
and there’s a need to fully explore it
its future is strategic and wise
and needless of worry
“There’s nothing new under the sun”
yet we don’t live long enough to discover the smallest amount
of what is under the sun
there’s no time to not show up
to risk, to explore, to fail and to be rejected
is just a challenge of life
to “prove yourself a man”
to prove yourself a woman
and to stand up to holy standards
is when we stop feeling bored
because life is beautiful and beyond our expectations
and to love, to laugh, to design and to be optimistic
is when we truly begin to live
