Salvaje

Salvaje

A printmaking piece from 2006.
In this composition an African woman is giving away a baby lamb to another woman, while carrying her baby wrapped around her back with a cloth. The cougar’s face is the representation of “salvaje” (Spanish word for wild), ready to get its next prey. It is a give away. It is a decision to give or take. It is a matter of time. Life and death, the cycle of life.

Donut

Donut “We were used to looking at your donut drawing every morning while chatting” my art history professor told me after it was no longer displayed on the hallway… (it’s great to know that people enjoy looking at your artwork!)
